About us

Partridge Farm is 75 acres of beautiful Devon countryside situated in the hills above the River Dart. A growing frustration with a desk based job in investment banking and a wish to do something practical led to a complete change of career and lifestyle as we moved from Cheshire in 2005.

Since then, we have learned a lot as we build up our herds of the traditional English breeds of Large Black and Saddleback pigs and Aberdeen Angus cattle. At the same time, with the invaluable support and encouragement of our customers, we have been developing our local and mail order business, selling high quality fresh meat direct from the farm to you. 

Our aim throughout has been to rear our animals in as natural a way as possible, firmly believing that happy well cared for animals make the best tasting meat. Repeat orders and appreciation from our customers have confirmed this for us.
